60, the new middle age.
I started this blog when I was in my late 40’s. I felt weird labeling myself as middle-aged then, because I still felt, acted and was told I looked years younger than my age. Now, I know why. I hadn’t truly reached middle age yet. I’m 60 years old today and I’m just now on the cusp of middle age, by my life expectancy standards anyway. I strive to live to be 143 years old, so you see? At 60, I haven’t really hit the halfway mark, yet. I have a whole list of things I want to do after I retire from education but stopping isn’t on it.
